Hey there - my name is Jacqueline!
Whatever the occasion, I am so happy that you are here! I'm Jackie and this little photography business is my heart and soul. I started my photography journey in 2013 and have been hustling ever since! Outside of taking pictures, I’m a wife, a mother to three beautiful blue-eyed babies (Virginia Anne, Grace Mae and Harrison), a gardening enthusiast, a Kombucha drinker and currently in the process of helping my husband renovate a 100 year old home in Staunton, VA. Kyle and I met almost 10 years ago now, and as cliché as it sounds, we knew it was love at first sight. Since planning our own wedding in 2018, I know exactly how exciting (and stressful) a wedding day can be and I am here to help you plan every step of the way!
My love for capturing weddings has never stopped growing. To be able to document and preserve every delicate memory for each of my clients truly never gets tiring. On top of actually photographing your day, I have been known to sew a button on for a groomsman who is missing one, cut bouquet stems because they’re too long and have even whipped out my crochet needle to help the bride into her dress.

If you’re looking for a photographer who will hype you up as you are having your memories captured, someone who will adjust your hair if it’s fallen out of place, someone who will guide you from pose to pose effortlessly and someone who will probably overdeliver because these memories mean so much more to you, then you might be in the right place! I genuinely love what I do and I’m extremely grateful to be in a position to preserve my clients most memorable moments.
My portrait sessions on average end up being 1.5-2 hours long. That doesn’t always mean that we will be shooting for that entire time. That timeframe covers the entire session, outfit changes, touchups and something that is normally overlooked; genuine connection. Whether I am documenting your love in a new season as an engaged couple, or you are adding another little to your family, you will never show up to a session with me and just have your photographs taken. I am a people person, so part of this job requires me to offer my talents, but the other half is being a genuine human and getting to know my clients. Often my clients are reoccurring. I capture new clients’ memories, who in time become forever clients; returning when they are ready with their newest adventure or milestone.

BOOKING + PLANNING
I make it a priority to really get to know my potential clients during the initial inquiry. The time spent getting to know each other helps guarantee that I am the perfect photographer to capture your wedding day! Once the contract and deposit are taken care of, we will start planning your engagement session!
ENGAGEMENT SESSION
I offer this session complementary to our most popular packages because this time is so crucial for the both of us. My goal with the engagement session is to get my clients to become comfortable working with me, but also to meet each other face to face prior to the big day. You can expect to have your engagement session delivered online within 2-3 weeks after your engagement session.
WEDDING PREPARATION
I have captured numerous weddings that have provided me with keen insight into specific details and timing to capture your most important moments. I have also had the privilege to work with incredible vendors and am always willing to help connect you to other professionals.
WEDDING DAY
I can't wait to photograph you and your fiancé on such a special day! I will be there from start to finish, documenting your love story. You can expect your full online wedding gallery to be delivered 12 weeks after your wedding day.

I pretty much become your best friend on your wedding day. I will spend more time with you on your big day than anyone else, so making sure that we are a good match and that the process from start to finish is seamless is my specialty!

portrait sessions
Portrait sessions will be limited throughout the year and likely only offered seasonally. Starting in 2024, I will no longer be offering portrait sessions year round, outside of engagement sessions for pre booked couples. This is a big transition for my business, and I know it is a big change to see, but I value my time with my family and I am realizing that these sessions are requiring hours of my time away that I can no longer dedicate.

boudoir photography
Capturing the most vulnerable and intimate moments for my brides. There is so much to celebrate leading up to your wedding day, and preserving all of those wedding day details is so important, but remembering and celebrating you in the process is just as important. Nervous but still interested? Let’s chat about what a boudoir session would look like for you.
What about your services makes you unique?
I love what I do so much so, that I refuse to withhold memories from my clients if they’re worthy of keeping. This means that if I capture 1000 images at your 1.5 hour session, I’m more than likely going to deliver 100+ photographs in your final gallery. This may be overwhelming to some, but being on the receiving end of having my family photographs captured, I’d prefer this over receiving or only being able to select 5 from my final gallery to keep.
how many outfits are included?
Normally, I have my couples wear up to two outfits. For family sessions, my clients normally just wear one.
I’m nervous and my partner is stiff, will you help us work through this?
100%! Most people have never had professional photographs taken when they get in touch, so it’s my job to guide you from pose to pose.
Can you describe what a session with you would look like?
I tend to overshoot, and I often capture moments from multiple ranges to offer a wide variety in my clients’ final gallery. I also take pride in offering the color version of every photograph that I deem worthy of being delivered in black and white. This allows you to have both versions of the memory. With that said, not every photograph ends up black and white, but I do take pride in the story that select photographs tell when they are delivered in b&w (as you can see throughout my site).
